MRS.DONNA LEE B.A.Hons

My own career started in 1977 at the age of six when I started my training at the Chater Academy (Nuneaton), taking exams in Dance and later Speech/Drama.  I remained at the school for eighteen years. (weekends & evenings), the last ten of which were spent as an assistant teacher.  I left fully qualified in both Dance & Speech/Drama in June 1995 to get married and to set up a school of my own.
After leaving school I successfully completed a “Drama and Media Arts” foundation course at Stratford-upon-Avon College (1985-1986).

I then started training at Milverton House Kindergarten and Nuneaton Technical College to become a Nursery Assistant, after passing with distinction I remained at the Kindergarten until 1989.

From 1989-1993 I worked as a private nanny for two doctors as my day-time job and from 1992-1993 I was also dancing professionally in the cabaret at Turners Musical Merry-go-round (Northampton) in the evenings.

From Sept. 1993-1999 I taught Dance/Drama at Milverton House School & Kindergarten, which included Curriculum Teaching, Private Tuition and After School Clubs.

From October 1999-2003 I completed a degree course Majoring in Psychology and minoring in Education, whilst running the Lee Academy.

In 2000 I was awarded a fellowship by the British Theatre Dance Association, for outstanding achievements as a dancer and teacher.  My own professional Cabaret group was set up in 2004 to provide working experience for dancers.
