Congratulations to two of our students on their amazing achievements. Miss Olivia Yeomans has successfully auditioned for a part time role within the Socharo Dance Company, a Bollywood group and the stage school Bodyworks in Cambridge. Miss Georgie Moore has gained a place at Cambridge University. Well done both of you!

Showtime 2017 is going to be held at The Civic Hall, Bedworth on

Backstage help Showtime 2017

Due to child protection procedures, all dressers MUST attend one of the two dressers meetings. These meetings will take place at the village hall on Friday 12th May 5.15 – 6.15pm and Saturday 13th May 2.00 – 3.00pm.

Please could we ask for any parents who are able to attend one of these meetings and would be willing to help with dressing at the show to register your name with Donna. It is really appreciated, and the show is only able to run as smoothly as it does with the help back stage. Unfortunately, if we don’t have enough help we won’t be able to run our show.

 Support Showtime 2017

As the show is getting closer, and we are hoping to make it as successful as possible we are asking for names to be put forward for helping with the following areas:

Front of House – selling raffle tickets and programmes

Raffle – We need help in collecting raffle prizes, and would be really grateful if someone could help with this! All profits from the show are donated to charity. This time they are being donated to Dorothea Ward at the George Eliot Hospital.

Rehearsals are going well for the troupe and will continue weekly up to and including Saturday 27th May 2017, then will restart on Saturday 2nd September 2017 and run through up to and including 7th October 2017. As per the original email from Debbie on 21st June 2016, all performers are entitled to a maximum of three weeks holiday during the rehearsal times. Exciting times ahead
Due to the increase of Performing Arts courses available at A Level and Degree level and the phasing out of straight Dance courses at some colleges and universities, we feel we must respond to this in our class structures. Therefore, I am really excited to announce that I have integrated singing into our Junior, Inter and Senior packages.

We are very pleased that Thom our singing teacher has agreed to teach all age groups as part of their package.

We will issue a letter during this term to each class to break down the new timetable structure.

New Prices following the summer break
We have managed to keep our prices fixed for the last 4 years, but now has come the time to increase our fee’s slightly. We have researched the market, and our new price structure is still very competitive. We will issue a further letter to each class during this term confirming the prices for the new term in September.

Photographs – Show Costumes 2015
We now have the link to the photo sessions from our photographer Steve Hey. For privacy reasons, we will forward by email the link to any students/parents who ask. The photographs are reasonably priced at £2.40 each.
